The Cameroon Telecommunications (Camtel) is preparing the launch of the first Triple Play offer (commercial offer in which an operator offers subscribers in a single contract, three services including telephony, the Internet, and television) in the country, announced Alwihdainfo.com.

This offer should be marketed in the country before "January 2016", sources informed, will allow the subscriber to receive it through the optical fiber, hundreds of TV channels and national and international radio, Fixed phone line and a broadband internet connection.

"For now, the offer is still in its experimental phase and the relevant services are reflecting on the price to offer customers," said CEO of CAMTEL.

Triple Play by CAMTEL is a project of National Broadband Network (NBN), which consists of densifying the fiber optic network in the country, in order to democratize access to this infrastructure, which will thus be available to households and businesses through various innovative service offerings (triple play, video surveillance, e-learning, etc.)

Funded by Eximbank of China, the second phase of NBN just received new funding totaling FCFA 198.9 billion, according to a presidential decree issued on November 2, 2015, to authorize the Minister of Economy to this loan contract on behalf of the state of Cameroon.
