Another hearing has been scheduled on Thursday, October 29 for the Joseph Antoine Bell against FECAFOOT and Brigitte Mebande against FECAFOOT cases which could not be finalised yesterday.
The hearings on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration (CCA) of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Cameroon (CNOSC) was an opportunity to hear the arguments of the various parties involved in these cases.
Both applicants were personally presented at the hearings and in the companies of their respective councils. The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) was, as usual, represented by Philippe Memong.
"We do not have a choice. We will wait for the House to give its verdict," commented Brigitte Mebande.
The former president of the Union Club of Abong-Mbang and Member of the National Assembly remains confident that the law will be said in favour of her application.
"I have always had hope," she said. "We believe that the CCA is normal like other jurisdiction. If we are not happy, we will take the case to CAS," added Domingo Akoe Epie, Brigitte Mebande board.
As a reminder, in both cases, Joseph Antoine Bell and Brigitte Mebande essentially requested for the cancellation of the work of the General Assembly which led to the election of Tombi A Roko Sidiki as President of FECAFOOT.
