Arsenal and Roma target Samuel Eto'o…but he's demanding £60k a week

SAMUEL ETO'O has set his sights on moving to Roma, but the Chelsea reject will only join if they can meet his pay demands.

The Cameroon international will be a free agent soon and he has been linked to a cluster of clubs including the Gunners and Everton.

But fresh reports suggest Roma are leading the race to sign the Chelsea reject. Reports on the continent indicate Roma will have to stump up nearly £60,000-a-week should they wish to land the striker.

It is thought he wants a two-year contract worth just over £3m a season.

Jose Mourinho appears to have washed his hands with Eto'o, who mocked the Portuguese tactician by doing an "old man and a walking stick" celebration when he scored at Stamford Bridge.

With Diego Costa close to sealing a move to the Blues, Eto'o has been told to look elsewhere.

Though the likes of Thierry Henry and David Villa may be plying their trade in the MLS, Eto'o believes he could still offer a lot and cut it in the Champions League.
