Assou Ekotto finally joins the team

Benoit Assou-Ekotto who was expected since Monday has finally arrived in Austria early Wednesday evening. He will try in a few days to convince the coach for a position on the left side of the Cameroon defense.

Volker Finke had given a few days to Benoit Assou-Ekotto to join Walchsee and the team because he was playing last Saturday with his club Queens Park Rangers a qualifying match for the rise in the English Premier League.

The left fullback was supposed to meet his teammates of the national team since Monday.

But as at Wednesday morning, Benoit Assou-Ekotto was still not at the training session.
