Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o Fils who is the captain of Antalyaspor in Turkey was present on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the opening of the G20 summit which groups the 20 most powerful nations on the planet.

The summit held in Antalya, where he resides involved Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel, David Cameron and other top heads of state and governments of the world.

According to the newspaper Le Messager of Tuesday, November 17, 2015, the top scorer in the history of the African Cup of Nations and the Indomitable Lions was not invited for outstanding talent as a footballer but for issues of terrorism and migration crisis which were among priority concerns raised.

Ambassador of several charities including the fight against Ebola with Fifa and for the fight against malaria with CAF, Samuel Eto'o continues his involvement alongside the High Commissioner for Refugees to help victims of the massacres of Boko Haram through his Yellow Whistle concept for which he collected large sums of money given to the High Commissioner of Refugees.

"The international community is relatively absent and we, together, can help refugees. When we look at the young Cameroonians who become Boko Haram suicide bombers; it must be understood that ignorance is our greatest enemy," says the winner of the "Ballon d'Or" in 2015.

The G20 summit groups the 20 most powerful nations on the planet. It brings together the key developed and emerging economies which provide about 85% of global GDP, according to the newspaper.

Samuel Eto'o carried the voice of Cameroon to the summit. All presisdents invited to the summit were present with the exception of the head of the Argentine State Christina Kirchner and her French counterpart Francois Hollande whose capital was subject to multiple terrorist attacks on the night of Friday, November 13, 2015.
